Creating good nutrient rich soil for your plants to grow in will greatly improve their health, but it’s also important to understand when they may need feeding too.

There are many commercial products available to feed your plants with, but you can’t beat making your own organic fertilizer, at home and for free.

In this video we explain the basics of plant nutrition, how this differs from plant to plant and what to look for when buying commercial feed. We demonstrate how to make your own fertilizer, and show how to use wood ash and grass cuttings to boost soil health.
